Hi everybody
Over the last year I have been heavily involved in the design and marketing of a brand new Australian focussed social networking site. Whilst it is not my own business, I am one of the executive founders.
The site design is nearing completion and we are very close to our official launch.
We have undertaken the ambitious task by combining ‘best of breed’ characteristics of- Social networking (eg Facebook)
- Business Listings (Yellow pages, LinkedIn)
- Forums (like this one)
- On line auctions (like e-bay)
- Revenue sharing (through MLM structure)
- Plus we have niche applications for Fashion, Music, Adults and Baby Boomers
For those who are interested in reviewing the site please use the links below.
I really appreciate all feedback and ‘likes and dislikes’ you might have.

The site design looks great.
Just wondering why you didn’t go for a .com.au if it’s Australian focused?

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your positive feedback.
The current site is focussed on Australia only, however once a name has been established here, the 434U brand name will be used worldwide and we will be looking at Franchising in other countries.March 19, 2009 at 7:59 am #1005464Up::0Sef, post: 4524 wrote:Hi Andrew,

In fact, it’d be an investment, but (if possible) I’d buy all of the domains in the other countries you plan to launch in.
Just do your homework on pricing as you can get some good deals nowadays on domains.

Good point Renee
We already have some 500 domain names ‘nabbed up’, but maybe we need to review our ‘.com.au’ list again
