    When posting a comment on another peoples blog I’ve always wondered whether it is best to link back to the website or the blog?

    Hi Rachel,

    I’d say it is always better to link back to your own blog. Generally people who follow comment links are interested in pursuing the conversation or see if you have expanded on your thoughts in your own blog.

    Thus I always suggest to link your comments back to your blog homepage, and then have a link back to your main website in a prominent location on the ‘About’ page or on the header somewhere.
