    Hi There,

A client of mine has asked my advice on the best Affiliate Marketing sites for Australian businesses.

Everything is set up to take on affiliates but we are just looking for a site or database on where to attract others to sign up to the offer.

Does anyone have any sites that they have found to be more successful then others.

The product they sell is a consumer based health and fitness product.

    Cheers
    Mitch

    Hi Mitch,

The answer may depend on how you have set up the client’s affiliate program. Do they have their own affiliate tracking app, or is it set up through one of the large affiliate networks?

    Hi Mitch,

Who you pitch the affiliate program to really depends on what you have to offer.

Are you able to discuss the products that are available and the commission that you are offering? Typically the commission that a small start-up business can offer is not worth the effort for full-time affiliate marketers. Thus posting it to an affiliate marketing website would be futile.

At this stage the best opportunity to get new affiliates will likely be contacting website owners directly. Identify blogs, websites or businesses who cater to your target audience and contact the owners personally (not a mass email).

Depending on the type of product, some of the website owners may not be familiar with affiliate programs. If you take the time to educate these few as to how it works, and what money they can make, you are pretty likely to get them on board.

Unless you have enormous commission rates you really need to take this personal approach to get affiliates.

The affiliate with have their own tracking ID and be able to login to a portal on the website to be able to track clicks and commissions, etc.

Some great tips there – Thanks so much for taking the time to point that out to me.
