Hi There,

What a great place to meet other business owners and share your ideas and thoughts!

I am turning 30 in couple of weeks and becoming my own boss have been a dream for a long time. As you may all know leaving that full time job behind and starting to build your own takes lot more courage than you imagine.

Anyway, here I am hoping my passion for design and art inspired from Eastern designs and concepts will hopefully lead to something good

The art and designs I am planning to introduce are all hand made by talented artisans from the beautiful island of Ceylon from home wares, candles, wall hangers and cushion covers made from batik to jewellery.

I will also thinking of exporting various teas, Aurveda oils and creams which is a very popular trade in Ceylon.

I’am hoping to sell these to retail and also to public, but I am not sure how the demand is like.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome!

yeah its now called srilanka. But most poeple still call it ceylon.
