Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum for this kinda thing or not, but here goes haha…… as per my other thread I am currently looking for either a part-time or reliable casual job for web dev work.

My experience is as follows:

Required Skills:

• PHP Knowledge – Approx 9 years experience
• Object-Oriented Programming Experience
• MySQL Knowledge – Approx 9 years experience
• Intermediate JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX Knowledge
• Advanced (X)HTML/CSS Knowledge
• Light knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
• Comfortable using Photoshop to slice up PSD’s
• Experienced turning PSD’s into WordPress sites/themes
• Subversion Experience
• Light Git Version Control Experience
• Comfortable working within a MVC Structure

Not sure how many bites I’ll get on this forum considering most of us run small businesses, but thought I’d give it a try ha!

Hi Matt, well I would prefer something in-house as there are a lot of distractions at home, but seeing as you’re in Melbourne lol I guess that’d be a bit hard lol

Anyway, to answer your question, I usually charge $70/hr, but if I was guaranteed at least 18-20 hours a week I’d be happy with $40/hr.

Have a look on Seek and see if there are any recruitment firms around specialising in IT/Web Dev, and get in contact with them and let them know what you are looking for, that way if something comes up you might get a call.

I get the odd bit of contract work through various recruitment agencies. There is sure to be one in Perth that specialises in creatives.
