    Hi all,

    Has anyone had problems with their Acer laptop screen either pixilating or going blank? I have contacted the Acer helpline to which they advised me to re-set my laptop to factory settings – this didn’t help. I now have to wipe my hard drive and send it to Acer for repair. Having the laptop only a few months, I am extremely annoyed.

    Thankfully I also have a desktop PC so I can continue working, but it’s extra hassle that I don’t need at the moment!!

    I am currently typing to you on an Acer aspire netbook. and my office lapotp in a nearly 3yo acer travelmate

    My other work has always bought Acer and the current inventory is…
    MD…Acer netbook and about 5 yo travelmate
    sales manager …Acer netbook and nearly 3yo travelmate
    3 admin desks…nearly 3yo travelmates
    NSW rep …Acer netbook
    Vic rep …Acer netbook
    WA Rep … Acer netbook

    LOL I guess you see a pattern here :) We have used Acer’s in varying form for the past 10 years at my Bris Job (from which I buy my computers from wholesale) and we have never had a problem at all.

    Try going back to your re-seller and see what they have to say??
