Hi, my name is Michael, and I’m currently completing a certificate in Microbusiness. As part of the requirements for the course, I am required to produce a business plan — a component of which comprises market research. To that end, I have produced a brief questionnaire that I hope you might be able to spare ~5 minutes to complete. Can I suggest that you put these questions into a survey that we can answer through a link (SurveyMonkey or similar)? I think you would get a lot more response.

Hi purgatori,

As Wendy mentioned, it would be preferable if you could create an online survey, and invite our members to participate there.

Please also provide some info in your post about who you are and what the information will be used for. I recommend you make it optional for people to include their contact details – most people will be reluctant to provide those unless they are very confident about whether they’re going to be used for marketing purposes in the future or passed on to someone else.
