After all the umming and ahhing sooner or later you have to take some action.
Winter is creeping up on us and firewood will be in demand so having the tools available to process it is in high demand.
So the iron is hot and striking we shall do.

April 3, 2017 at 12:27 am #1207242Up::0Good luck with your venture, sometimes you have to just get on with what you want to do and deal with the slow beaurocrats over time.
It will be frantic in the early stages but be sure you take time from your daily work schedule to make sure all the paperwork gets done & you have all the permits / insurance etc.April 3, 2017 at 10:49 pm #1207243Up::0Hi Bush Mechanic,
For insurance I second Bert’s recommendation, send @alliedib a message.
And all the best for the new venture.
Cheers
MischelleAugust 8, 2017 at 5:01 am #1207244Up::0Hi Everybody,
Good news at last !!!!
Finally got the DA approved and the Construction Certificate is done and dusted.
We start construction tomorrow, bringing in gravel for the shed base, and hoping the tax man likes us enough for a good refund to fund construction.
I’m sorry for not corresponding sooner but the stress of waiting and twiddling my thumbs( DA applied for 1/6/17 and Construction certificate issued 6/8/17) had me in no mans land.
Will keep all updated as we progress and hopefully soon pics.

September 18, 2017 at 9:53 pm #1207245Up::0Hi all,
At last the shed slab is down and hopefully the shed will be up this time next week.
Unfortunately my wife brought me something home from work, no not chocolates or flowers, she’s a nurse and I got that flu. Knocked me for 3 1/2 weeks and I’m still feeling the effects of it.
Then both our cars broke down, Mr Murphy and I are quite familiar of late, I’ll refer you to a Kevin Wilson song about whatever could go wrong. (I’ll leave that up to you to investigate, not for sensitive ears).
Good thing was I chatted to a Real Estate agent and the rough value of the property is looking at being about 200% more than our investment so far.
After all this work, excavating, leveling, digging pier holes etc I’m looking forward to a rest with setting up and operating the shop.( ooh I must be wicked).
Anyway, it’s back to the grind for me, got to do dust control on the site so I can finish the hardstand areas.

Mr Murphy is a bit of a “You know what” but you got through.
You will have to upload some photos for us.
Exciting
September 23, 2017 at 3:19 am #1207249Up::0Thanks Guys and Gals,
Just got home from the block, big morning having started on the final layer for the hard stand, deco granite with a stabilser mixed in. Builder will be back Monday and hopefully be finished Tuesday.Will post pics when the shed is up.
Absolutely buggered, forgot the excavator keys and lifting chain this morning, then wacked the power pole( again) and had fun pulling down the old barbed wire fence, mmm, when did I have my last tetanus shot?????
Anyway got tomorrow off (sort of, lot of catchup work to do at home).
