    Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with company logos and branding?
I’m looking for business card design, graphics for a website & letter head.
I’d realy like an idea of what costs are involved.
    Nicky

    Hi Nicole321,

    Welcome to the forum.

I’m sure you’ll receive some recommendations and volunteers tomorrow when everyone is back at work, but in the meantime, you might like to check out the graphic design section of our directory.

Hope you find the right person soon,
    Jayne

Hi Nicole, I have plenty of experience with branding, logo design and application.

Have a look at my website in the meantime, and we can chat on Monday about what you need and I can do a costing for you?

    Heidi :)

Here is another site to look at: http://www.peer.net.au
Choice ultimately comes down to personal preference of graphic design style and budget

Hi Nicky, please feel free to take a look at our portfolio here http://lemonchip.com/portfolio.html

There are plenty of examples there of logos, and web sites there. Sorting our your business cards and other stationery will be no problem either.

If you like what you see there, please give me a call for a chat.

    Hi Nicky.

Don’t forget to consider the trademark implications of your logo (or name for that matter).

I know a couple of designers on Flying Solo will ensure that trademark searches are either conducted as a part of their design process, or, will provide you with some information to consider in terms of trademark searches… (i.e. to make sure your name/logo is not stepping on any toes) – however, if you need more information on this part of the ‘branding’ process, feel free to click through the links in my signature.

All the best – am sure you will find someone here who can help :)

    Morning Nicole!

Were you able to find a suitable designer for your new adventure? If not, happy to have a chat. I specialise in identity design, brand consultation and brand naming.

It’s important that you find someone who you work well with too, not someone who just has a great folio. People skills matter as design is a process and communication is the key.

    Good luck with it ;)

I can happily recommend Leah from The Golden Goose (posted above). She’s fantastic at what she does!

    Hi Nicole,
If you haven’t already found a designer, please feel free to check out what we do – http://www.pixelhero.com.au/services/branding/

One thing to keep in mind is that your business branding is not for you or me, it’s for your customers. So have a solid understanding of your target market and go from there.

All the best for your new venture :)

My site is a bit of an ‘experiment’ at the moment, but you can take a look at some of my logo design work if you like.

    Regards, Ash.

    Hi Nicky,

I’d recommend getting in contact with Rosie from Webholic (http://webholic.com.au) :)

    Cheers,

    Shaun
