    Hi Everyone,
    I’m new here and looking for some advice. I currently have a home based business selling educational toys for children.

    I’m looking at expanding my home based business into a direct selling/ party plan style business.
    Where I have consultants sell my products and earn a commission based on sales.

    for the last 2 years I have worked as a district sales manager for a global direct selling company.( but recently left to be a stay at home mum to my children)
    so I have a very clear understanding of all areas that need to be covered in regards to running a successful direct selling business.

    What I have done do far….
    I have my business plan
    I have an ABN
    Registered my business name
    Registered my domain name

    In regards to the ‘party plan’ side of my business
    What I have done so far..

    written an in depth consultant agreement outline all areas of the consultants business
    commission levels
    host rewards
    consultant rewards program
    ordering and payment procedure for consultants
    also an in depth training manual for new consultants
    The starter kit and price.

    I know I still need to gain liability insurance, I haven’t done this as yet as I don’t know what type of liability insurance I would need for my expanding business.

    My question is what do I do now?
    I know I need to seek legal advice, but who do I need to speak to, Can anyone recommend who I would need to approach to gain professional advice. Do I need to see a lawyer to sign off on the consultant agreement ?
    I just basically need to see someone that can give me the go ahead with my business.

    If anyone can share some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
