Hi my name is Dave and I have just recently started my own (ad)venture after a good number of years in business banking. My role previously was educating, training and coaching business bankers (as well as having a portfolio of my own clients) in the ways of business banking.
One of the key things I found in my experience in the bank was that the banks can often take a good look at a business cashlow and can make a lot of assessments about the business from this. Have you been asked this from your bank at any stage? I know that most of the new clients in my portfolio didn’t “really” understand business cashflow (from the bank’s perspective) and it made a difference to some businesses who were requiring finance from the bank.
My role is primarily to help simply the financial statements and break it down into 7 key drivers of business cashflow.
I run regular live events as well as webinars. In addition I have also developed a “cashflow health check” which can turn your financial statements into the 7 key drivers of business cashflow. I have seen businesses save hundreds and thousands with this information.
I met Robert Gerrish at a recent networking event in Brisbane and love the idea of a forum like this. I am looking forward to connecting with some of you in the future.
Enjoy your Monday and have a great week.

Great intro and great business model/coaching.. love it..
Looking at finance from a BANKS perspective is scary.. terminology, etc etc.. understanding what ratios are in place (during good and bad times), definitions of simple things like hurt money and the likes..
Anyone wanting to understand how to prepare for a bank application so it is well versed to be read by a financial body would pay to investigate Dave’s services (or others.. soz dave, didnt want to sound like i was ramping you up
…
All this info can be the difference between getting credit or not, getting a credit card or not, getting finance for your car or not.. well you get the drift….
Be well
Jason

It is good to hear from business owners that have the experience of dealing with banks and it can be so time consuming and confusing. Please feel free to ramp me up anytime
and I’ll buy you a coffee when I’m in Melbourne…
