Just received my renewal for the business accounting package, they are definitely not interested in helping small business get through to the other side.
Is it only the government that should be helping small business or should we be helping each other as well.
Just remember if a small business goes broke trying to pay your rip off fee’s, you loose all of that income, why not give a discount to help them through.
April 6, 2020 at 9:37 pm #1222994Up::0I have seen a lot of examples where businesses have been doing their bit.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t help when we get bills that don’t offer assistance,
For example, I just paid my non-discounted car registration bill last night and saw (the end part) a story on the news this morning that a mother and daughter had been fined for doing a Learner’s Lesson that didn’t qualify for not observing social distancing.
I am sure I will be using my car a lot less too in the near future but no discounts were offered.

I actually just noticed they are offering 50% off for new customers, but don’t give a damn about current customers, they will be getting a phone call from me.

Stay at home

Telstra always doing it.
I guess everyone’ trying their best to protect margins. Given the cost of a digital product is low you would think there is some room to move.

One thing I always learnt in business is that it is cheaper to keep an existing client, then to win a new client,

I personally don’t think driving in a car with your mum = “trying to kill others” – others who were around when I was learning to drive might disagree…strongly.
But that is the proverbial, “another story”.
But we can agree to disagree if you wish.
What is interesting to me is the speed at which community values have changed, especially giving up freedoms we treasured our whole lives up until just a month or two ago.
It is interesting times we live in.
