    Hi Guys,

    I’m building an outboubnd call centre app, which is about 2 weeks away form going live. http://www.simpleoutbound.com.au

    On the back of this application i have been looking into setting up my own outbound call centre operation.

    The one thing that has stumped me from a coding point of view is call recording. Ideally i would love to be able to record all of the calls that my agents make. This will enable me to QA my agents, Confirm any sales made and will help with training.

    Problem, being a web application, i do not want my agents to have install anything on there pc to make this work. I was looking into create an active-x control that the page could reference but so far no joy with that approach.

    If anyone out there knows of any call recording solutions that work on the web, i would be more than grateful for the tip.

    Hi Tony,

    There are hosted call recording solutions available – you don’t need to build the technologyyourself that way. It depends on your exact requirements and how you are placing your calls, but if you can give me some more details about how your calls are being placed to the outside world, I may be able to refer you to a couple of options.
