Just toying with an idea for now… Does anyone know of couriers for chilled food in Australia?

Hey John, I’d seen Rand. They seem to be for bulk delivery (?). I’m thinking more along the lines of a courier service. So a pick up of a couple of hundred parcels to be delivered chilled to residential addresses…

Oh okay. Sorry I don’t have personal experience with that sort of service. I’d imagine they exist though.

If you can’t find a courier company that offers it, maybe try putting an ad on Gumtree or similar. Surely there would be guys out there with refrigerated vans who would be looking for some extra work. Or hire a van and pay someone to drive it.

    Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

    Good luck.

I think a lot of the bigger companies (tnt, dhl etc) actually have refrigerated trucks aswell, so maybe give them a call?

    Adrian,

Are you looking for Australia wide or a specific state.

If it is Sydney based, I could source a subcontractor for you.
I will also speak to a few of my contacts and see what i can find.

Also so i can get an accurate idea for you.

Vehicle size (Van or small truck)
    Volume of freight?
    parcels or pallets?
One off deliveries or an everyday distribution run?

    Feel free to PM me
