I wrote the post you see below to my Subscribers last night… and I offer you some different thinking for 2016…
—
It’s that Time of Year…The New Start…
New Year’s Resolutions…
Endless Gibber about Setting Goals… being More Productive.
Well… I say that’s All Rubbish and will only constrain you… just Choose Your Word.
Choose the Word that is going to be You this Year.
The word that is right for you to Learn, Adapt and Grow.
The word that will call you to a whole set of New Behaviours.
My word is Pirate.
Why?… Because what springs to mind for me are the Behaviours of Being More Courageous, More Bold, Buoyant and even More Selfish in a good way.
Dr Jason Fox is my Beacon in this. He shows forward-thinking leaders around the world how to unlock new progress.
Don’t choose your word easily though… drill down until you find your Right Word.
Here’s what I mean… Jason refers to a friend who chose “Focus” first up but then drilled down to find “Hunter” way more appropriate.
So your word can’t be Boring or you will Run Dead with it and your friends will Roll Their Eyes.
Your friends?
Yeah… share Your Word with them and anyone who will keep you on track to Live Your Word this year.
It’s so much better than thinking about Limiting Resolutions
And quick Feedback.. one lady has chosen Rocket for everything she is determined to launch this yearWhat’s Your Word?

I think my word is…
Unrelenting.

Termite (without the horrible traits – just the good traits)
- Loyal to my team
- Unrelenting – hard to get rid of, but backs off when needed
- Focused on the task at hand and complete each one
- Essential to the eco system IE Become essential to my clients processes and become more of a partner
- Going out and foraging for new areas IE new clients and ideas
