Hi there,
I am hoping somebody slightly more technical can help me with this problem. When I look in webmaster – crawl errors, I have one link that comes up:
http://www.pix2print.com.au/howto.htmFree
It is correct that it returns a 404 error page as that page doesn’t exist (the page that does exist is howto.htm).
Now the problem is when I click on ‘Linked From’ to find out where I made the mistake it comes up with this URL:
http://173.212.254.218/book/index.php?o=calendar-creating-software-pc
which is not a URL from me, nor from anybody I know, nor from a site that seems to work… I have no idea how that link was created, who did it and why. But I would like to get rid of this crawl error… is there any way I can do that?
Thanks for your help!!!
Cheers,

http://173.212.254.218/ on its own hits a 404 page … is it yours?
the message, LOAD_TEMPLATE is a server instruction that has failed.
How to fix it, I can’t tell, sorry.

Yes, the link is mine (that’s why it is showing up in webmaster I assume?), but no the 404 page the site on its own shows (the girl with the hand sticking out and written on her t-shirt 404 not found) is not mine. I don’t own the site from where this link comes from – using who is only suggests it is some site in the US.
Thanks for your message, anybody out there who has any suggestion to what I can try to get rid of this crawl error?
Thanks!!

Pinged the server; static.hostnoc.net US based… leads to Network Operation Center Inc.
Thats this I think; http://www.nocster.com/ is this where your hosted? seems like you are

No, I am not on a managed platform and no that is not my 404 page. I have set up my own 404 page.
I am hosted here in Australia so no, I have no idea who nocster is…
somehow the link I gave has a link to my website, but it is to an invalid page in my site (howto.htmFree). I am 100% sure I am not the owner of that site in the US and that I didn’t create that link. I just want to get rid of it
Thanks for the ping and you message, anybody else have some idea how to get rid of unwanted links to my site?
Thanks a lot for reading!!
Cheers,
