I know that quite a few people use free templates for T&C’s, Privacy Policies etc…..

I am deciding if that is right for me and my business?

What is better in long term, free or paid?

    Thank you.

I think that unless you understand the legals then it’s best to pay in the long term. If you don’t understand the legals, how will you know the free template actually covers you properly?

There are a few Australian law firms that offer paid templates so you at least know they’re in accordance with Australian laws and meet those minimum requirements. However, to be best protected I think having a lawyer draft them is ultimately best in the long run.

I refer to several lawyers when needed for these sorts of things. https://legallyshalini.com.au/ is one I know to offer affordable templates and also drafts at a competitive rate.
