Does anyone have any good tips or articles for solo professionals/microbusinesses for disaster planning? I mentor naturopaths and health professionals who often work solo from home or are part of small businesses with 2 – 20 contractors.
Most know they need secure cloud storage for client and business files but not all have it.
What insurances cover loss of income if you can’t physically access your business for weeks or months? And are they worth it for people with often less than average income?
What state or federal compensation can microbusinesses apply for – even if they’ve got no employees and are flying solo.
“Natural” disasters are likely going to increase but we have had plenty of business interruptions from floods (Brisbane) and previous fires. Anyone lived through it, with lessons from the experience to share?
