I’ve recently completed a book on how to not get ripped off by your web developer. This is relevant both to local companies/contractors as well as if you are outsourcing your work. As a web developer of 6 years I always see clients trying to save money in the wrong areas and go down a path of frustration.
This is not for you if you are trying to get a $500 website and want to save $50 but if you are looking to spend decent money (over $2k) but don’t want to spend money on things that aren’t going to improve your bottom line.
