BronwynApril 26, 2009 at 11:57 pm #1002161Up::0Maybe we can set up something for the end of May .. Burgo, are you back already?
But probably not at the Albion Place Hotel again, I think it was a bit too noisy for normal conversations.
Cheers

May 6, 2009 at 11:57 am #1002163Up::0Astrid – yes – you were quite right – it was a tad noisy. Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere quiet for a drink? I keep hearing about these little places that are opening up in Sydney but I can’t find them. Surely they can’t be that little???
I’m in for a Friday after work at the end of May in the city if that suits. Happy to organise unless someone else wants to do it for me!

Happy to organise unless someone else wants to do it for me!I’ll kickstart some options with unique style of Madame Fling Flong’s
which is a boutique little bar situated above the tasty restaurant called Soni’s in King Street, Newtown, and guaranteed to be quietish, at least until we get there! and there are multiple walk in foodie options all along King St.I’ll even throw in a likely date of Friday the 22nd of May to make those calendars start rattling and see how many can meet for say 6pm? The web guys’n’gals can plan ahead for the week after, and we can all start planning a homecoming drinks session for Burgo in June.
cheers,
Richard

May 12, 2009 at 1:16 am #1002168Up::0Hi Guys,
Not sure how convenient Newtown will be for everyone else, but I’m good with it! It’s not exactly far from the city so hopefully others will make it. Either way we are set to equal our record drinks attendance of 3!
So, come on everyone, let’s hear if you are up for it! Sydney Flyingsoloists unite!
Cheers,
Craig
