    Hi all,

Been a reader for sometime now but have yet to make a move of starting my own venture. Until now,…..

I do have an idea but would like your feedback.

The concept is simple. You order any food you want (within reasonable proximity) and we will go there, make the purchase and deliver it to you for $xx (delivery fee) My target audience is office workers prodominately.

I know there are existing companies such as menulog and eatnow. However, i want to differentiate with them by having the flexibility of ordering from any food joint you want with no minimum order amount and not be restricted to certain restaurants. If you feel like a kebab or burger from that particular food truck, we can deliver it to you and etc….

Any positive or negative feedback would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

How much can you reasonably charge to deliver an $8 kebab? And how will it taste when it finally arrives?

    Welcome aboard Katsudon!

Have fun with your business ideas. I would ask – a lot of people have had this idea, so what advantage do you have that will make you the right person to make this work?

Lets say $10 flat rate per delivery…..
i was hoping to target 2 to 3 orders per delivery so they could split the $10 charge amongst each other.

So lets say, 3x $10 burger meals would equate to $13 per meal delivered. Thats assuming there are 3 orders.

    Hi Dave

The advantage for clients wiuld be they get choose anything they want rather than being limited to certain menus.

For example, they could take advantage of 2 for 1 deals offered on certain pubs amd etc.
