I’m based in Australia, and am looking to have freight forwarded to Australia, and to a fulfillment centre in the US. Does anyone have any recommendations for a freight forwarder in Australia that offers this bundled service? Thanks

Most freight forwarders have international contacts that would enable them to do what you require.

I assume you are shipping direct from your supplier to yourself in Australia and also to a fulfillment house in the USA? If so you should have no trouble finding a forwarder to handle that for you.

In case you are thinking of shipping direct to Amazon FBA in the USA, may I suggest that is not a good idea for two reasons:
    1. Your supplier will get to know how you are selling and could learn to use Amazon FBA themselves, leaving you out of the loop.
    2. Amazon get to know who your supplier is. Amazon are notorious for copying or taking over the market for products being successfully sold on their marketplace. By showing them who you supplier is you are helping them do that.

The way to avoid this is to send to another fulfillment house and get them to repack as necessary and forward to Amazon, or alternatively, send to a prepping service in the USA and get them to repack and forward.

    Regards,

What size and weight are you importing? My goods are small so I use DHL express. They can take even take care of customs if your goods are over $1000 (for a small fee of course.)

I’m keeping an eye on this thread as I’m in the process of sending goods from China to UK so I’m interested in seeing what ideas emerge.

Experience, thanks for the tips on Amazon!
