I have a question re GST on export sales please ?

If i supply labour while in Australia to prepare goods for export to a business in USA , do i charge GST ?
An example is loading a shipping container , do i charge GST on my labour to load it ?

Secondly , If i supply parts to facilitate export such as tie down chains for the load inside the shipping container , are those also exempt from GST ?

I am registered for GST in Australia.
The US business would be paying me.
They have no branch or business operations in Australia.

    thankyou :)

You only charge GST to AU businesses and residents, otherwise, it’s a GST free export.

    Hope that helps.

    More info is available here:

    https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/International-tax-for-business/In-detail/Doing-business-overseas/Exporting-goods-or-services-overseas—what-you-need-to-know/

Exports of goods and services from Australia are generally GST-free.

You gotta know where to look with the ATO site :p
