Hi!
I’ve been researching courses by The Entourage and BSchool and would like to know of anyone’s experiences with either of them, or if there’s any other similar courses that are great for entrepreneurs.I’m a small business owner (for the past 9 years) and have learned a lot on my own and without business studies, for it to be a successful. However I have a new business idea and know that I want it to be bigger, a company, eventually have staff, it will have a much different structure to solo owner/operator and likely need funding. This is all knowledge that I don’t have so I’d like to study.
Has anyone studied Business/Entrepreneurship at these courses?

I’m currently going through BSchool. I was invited to go through the course and document the process. I’ve written a few articles about it that you can access here: http://www.flyingsolo.com.au/working-smarter/professional-development/bschool-deadlines-coffee-and-five-awesome-books BSchool provides a solid platform of knowledge and skills across the main aspects of running/growing a business.I don’t know much detail about The Entourage but I have heard good things and from what I can tell it looks to focus on startup, growth and entrepreneurialism.
Flying Solo also partners with The Key Person of Influence which is well worth a look. They do a one-day accelerator event as well as a much longer in-depth course. Their program is focused on taking reasonably well established indovidual business owners to a new level of growth and success with a method of increasing your influence and revenue in your niche.
There’s plenty of reviews/info online so it’s worth doing research and ultimately it will come down to which program matches the gap in your skills and your stage of business development.
All the best with the journey!
Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to reply! I did read your articles, thanks for the information.
I’m keen to know what you thought about working on a hypothetical company as opposed to putting the knowledge straight into your own business ifea? Or do you think this model is better suited to those wanting an overview of business study?Thank you

If you’re reasonably established and looking to take your business to a new level (rather than learning the fundamentals from scratch) then I would probably lean towards a course/program where you work through your live business as you go through.Sorry! I know I’m not being too black or white here Most of the bigger courses would be happy to talk through the stage that you’re at in terms of your knowledge/experience to get a feel for how suited you are to the offering to help make a decision.
Cheers
