I haven’t got a suggestion yet for you, but I would like to sincerely congratulate you for continuing to work all those years with your family challenges. No slaps on the wrist – just 3 gold stars!

Further to Karen’s message, congratulations on staying the course throughout the tough times. Your story illustrates just why soloism is so worthwhile, in spite of it being tougher at times than a ‘normal’ job.
The following may help you take your business to the next level. This section of our website explains how to go about outsourcing. Also, you may enjoy this article on business taglines.
Please keep in touch with how your plans are progressing.
Loved hearing about your Southfork dream. Maybe I’ll see you at the Oil Baron’s Ball?

Huge congratulations, what a motivation you are!! Regardless of challenges I love the idea of being a soloist and having full control over our own destiny!!
I absolutely understand your difficulty with choosing a business name, my business path started as a spur of the moment suggestion by my husband who is always behind me assuring me I “have what it takes”
BUT—- Talk about alot of brain wasting hours trying to figure out a business name that wasn’t already registered and had an available domain name!! I really started hating domain squatters over the last month I can tell you LOL!!!
My suggestion is to write down the keywords that you think suit your business, then play around with a combination of those. Once you have that, you should try searching for available domain names, and then even for “keywords” that people use to search for your type of business online.
It will probably take a while, but it’s very fulfilling and exciting when you strike gold with the right name….
i know that doesn’t solve your problem, but I hope it helps some
December 11, 2008 at 4:44 am #1001427Up::0I too was motivated to congratulate you on your success. Success is not always measured in dollars and business growth.
In regards to your original question my best advice is to track down some of the soloists on this website who specialise in marketing, strategy etc etc. Try and find those people who understand where you are coming from as well as who work with clients who are where you want to be.
Too many times people choose “experts” who do not understand where you are at and what you are trying to achieve. They just use a one-size-fits-all approach.
I wish you all the very best and based on past performance feel that once unleashed you will be unstoppable!
