    I have a skincare business and I am receiving enquires from overseas. Now I have a very interested client from singapore. I am really confused about duty on exports and etc. any help… any agency recommendation regarding these or shall I just go to my solicitor?(he charges me too much $$$ by hour.)

    I would suggest you start at Austrade and read through their information, particularly their legal section.

    Then go to Customs and have a look at the costs of duty etc.

    You can also send small quantities through Australia Post which takes care of the custom duties etc.

    There are also health rules in both countries to investigate on the type of products and ingredients.

    A lot to investigate first I know – but better to be safe than sorry.
    If you do go to a solicitor, go to one who specialises in exporting.
    But, first do your homework research as above. Austrade can be very helpful.
