    Hi Everyone,

    New to the forum.

Been running my business for about 16 months now.

I’m having trouble with searching invoices on MYOB. I have 2 major clients and i’m trying to search old work orders to see if I have invoiced for them and the person who was helping me do that didnt always enter the p/o number. Is there anyway of searching the description to find the invoice in myob?

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Matt,

Welcome to the forum – what’s your business?

You can’t directly search the line descriptions within MYOB, but you can dump this data into Excel and search there.

In MYOB under the Sales reports you will find a Customer Sales Details report – run this for whatever date range you want. There are also a number of other versions of the sales detail report, so if you generate item invoices or time billing invoices run one of these instead. Now with your report open on screen select send to Excel (I’m assuming here that you do have Excel installed).

Not sure if you know how to search in Excel, but if not you need to highlight the range you want to search and then use the Find & Select button.

    Good luck, Cheers, Rhys
