Hi Everyone,

I have just joined Flying Solo and looking forward to meeting lots of new people and making great contacts. I started my Virtual Assistant business this year in February and all has been going well, I could be a little busier!! as I’m sure all of us would love a steady flow of income.

I’m a stay at home Mum with a beautiful 14month old little boy, my business is called Consider it Sorted and I’m focusing on helping small business owners and individual business owners with their office administration and social media. I also enjoy organising events and helping with the admin side of running a successful event. I am based in Sydney.

Whoo Hoo another Virtual Assistant. Glad to see you here. I am sure you will find a lot of people interested in your services.

Using VA is becoming more popular not only because of the savings we can give to our clients but because we give value for money and there is really no office need that cant be covered by a VA. We have so many talented female (and lately male) solepreneurs running their very successful VA businesses, as more and more businesses are finding out.

I am amazed at the response I have had in such a short space of time since being a member and hope you experience the same.

What’s a V.A.?

Yep, you’re right, I do know what it means, it’s quite obvious really, still, i’ve never heard of the concept before, and I can only imagine that it’s a fairly modern phenomenon. Perhaps you could take this question as an opportunity to explain your services, and costings, in a more direct manner. We won’t think any the worse of you, promise.

Actually David, the VA Industry has been around since the mid 90s so we’ve been around for quite awhile. Prior to that it was the home-based secretary but the Internet has helped it evolve considerably.
