    more advertisers on my website???????

I am new to this really, and I am unsure as to where I can advertise my website in order to get companies to advertise on it 😮

I am offering a very low advertising rate i.e. less than 20c per day for six months, and have put this on forums and facebook. I am currently working on an email approach to send to companies directly. Apart from this I am unsure as to what to try next.

Can anyone offer me any advice on this??

I bought my 1st car from Website advertisement ….
(now keep in mind it was a old magna ;) and not a Ferrari … but still not bad from just online revenue)

Advertisers tend to pay based on 2 factors

    1. PURE DATA = this means how much traffic, page rank, authority, virisots your site has an how much ROI they get for their investment.

    2. Ego/Emotional factor. If they love the idea so much they can’t say no.

    So the question is:

why someone should pay to advertise in YOUR site and not in your competitors site?

What is the GREAT value of marketing in your site? <--- this is the 1st step to understand how to sell your web ads. ;)

Get more traffic, the more traffic you get equals more value to advertisers, also more potential advertisers will come and visit your site.

    mmmm not really
traffic for the sake of traffic means nothing.

what’s the point of advertising in a site about mmm wallpapers, or free icons if you are an accountant ;)

where do you want to advertise in the 1.000.000 visitors per month freebie seeking visitors?

or in a site like flyingsolo where they are potential “buyers” or future “customers”

in my point of view, it’s mote in the quality of the traffic

Unless you’ve got a TON of traffic (100k+ uniques/day) then you’re not going to attract any advertisers by yourself IMO; your best bet is to join an ad network such as http://www.cj.com or use adwords.

This is just a general opinion and some sites may differ depending on the audience demographics.

I am a merchant – but I want to know:

    • Rates
    • ad sizes etc, what I get for my $
    • Why people need to log on to see my deal – I have not seen any other site that hides this info away, thereby reducing the potential exposure
    • Some basic data metrics

There are plenty of voucher sites, in fact it is the fastest growing segment online, so the market is about to be flooded with them here in AU

So low rate might be cheap, but free can be more expensive than its worth potentially.

You also need to have more complete contact details. having to sign in to see things, only email contact forms….does not present a good impression.

I realise you’re asking about finding advertisers to pay you directly to advertise on your site, which is possible and worthwhile pursuing. I thought I’d ask though – in the meantime, are you making use of Google Adsense?

If you don’t know about the Adsense program, have a look here.

    Hi King

thanks for your feedback. Most of the deals websites in the UK hide their discount codes and are only revealed when clicked on, so I think it is only a matter of time before that trend is followed here. Plus I think all of the daily deals websites i.e. the group buying websites request you to register before you can see anything at all. As merchant another thing you would want to know is have I got a database of members? Non members can see everything on the site apart from the deals pages.

I have just added the Advertise with Us page so I will be putting more information on that shortly.

    thanks again for your comments.

Could you just explain what you mean by this? I just had a look at your holiday accommodation website and couldn’t find a “contact us” page?

    Hi Bappymills,

Not all of the daily deals sites do make you register, but it is of course the site owners preference. Depending on your agreements, perhaps it would be a good test to switch off the registration for a week, and see if your advertisers get an increase CTR, after all, that is the main aim isn’t it?
