Hi all, any bloggers here can share their experience? My blog has around 20-30k sessions per month and I want to grow it to 50k per month. From what I am seeing is it takes a very long time for my new post to rank given that I have already chosen the topic that is relevant to my niche and low competition.

Here is one of my older posts, published 1-2 years ago and it only started to rank last month.

This is one of my newer posts, at first it got indexed pretty quickly then the ranking drops and not getting any clicks. I did notice the same happened to my older posts. Anyone seeing a similar trend? How long does it take for your new post to generate some good level of traffic?

Hey there! I don’t have a lot of experience with blogging, but from what I’ve heard, it can take some time for new posts to start generating traffic. Have you tried promoting your blog on social media or other platforms to drive traffic to your site? Maybe that could help speed up the process. Also, have you looked into optimizing your posts for search engines and using relevant keywords? That might help improve your rankings and get more clicks.

Google rankings really depend on you. I write content on a daily basis for different sites. On average, I see rankings within 20 – 25 days. However, this is because my competitors use rank scores of less than 50.

Here is an example. A client asks for his website to be ranked for ‘online casino’. This is more challenging since the average rank score is 87.3. if I attempt this feat, it will take about 90 – 120 days to see any result.

However, if the same client accepts another keyword, ‘online casino in Omtario’ the results change. the average rank score is only 48.8 and any article with a 60+ rank score can top these listings within 30 – 60 days.

So, if you can get the rank score average and outperform it, you are on your way to changing the parameters.

It relies on the content, the competition, and a number of other things. Most of the time, it takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for a new blog post or page to reach the top of Google results. [Mod Edit To Remove Promotional Content]
