We’re meant to pay ourselves?!?! Now it all makes sense….

Why do you want to know GS? It would swing widely depending on personal circumstances, taxation, company expansion, risk etc….

You’re starting a new business as a sole trader?

Assuming the answer is “yes”, then you don’t pay yourself anything…the earnings under the business name are linked to the one ABN as yourself. Any income the business has is your income anyway.

If you’re set up as a company, then I wouldn’t worry about a wage until you actually have profits and speak to your accountant then about the best way to do it.

Ain’t bad for a trip to NZ or a long weekend camp with family and friends…
Why would I not pay myself for working really hard to make my business grow? :D
