    hi,all:
this is Liz. i found a shop near a business street and i got the contract draft. i just want wondering that should i pay the outgoings fees? that include:

    *building& plate glass insurance $1,400(approx)
*municipal council rates and charges $1,400(approx)
*sewerage and drainage rates and charges $550
    *fire protection equipment-essential service $250

dear sir/madam, above is part of my contract. is this fair? would you please give me some advice? who can help me before i sign the contract? who i can talk with?

This really requires legal advice Liz.

See a solicitor to save any heartache later.

The original post has been edited – there was more than just outgoing info in the post.

Agreed. Outgoings are usually your responsibility though.

Why wouldn’t you pay the outgoing fees? They’re part of the cost of business.

    Was this a serious question?

If so, you really need to explore your obligations as a business owner before even contemplating signing a contract.

How have you anticipated your first year operating costs?

    *smacks forehead*
