I am new to flying solo community and wondering if we have inner west networking group in place which covers the area like Burwood,Ashfield,Strathfield and Rhodes..

I think I would run sort of poll on the forum and work out how many of us are interested in meeting.Please help us out here I am more than happy to go around and find some suitable place for consideration.

Hi Hirav,

What we’ve observed with other meet-up groups is that once someone nominates a time, date and location, other people start to commit.

Rather than run a poll, I’d suggest you find a date and venue that suits you, and then let others confirm whether it suits you too.

Hi all

I’m in the inner west also and would love to join an established meet up or to take the plunge and co-ordinate one.

If nothing is in place as yet then how about a quick initial meetup either Wednesday 7 December at 7.30 am – 8.15 am at one of the great cafes in Rozelle, or Wednesday 14 December 6.30 pm – we can confirm a location once we know numbers and agree timing for 2012

Hi everyone,

Our observation is that meet-up groups tend to actually take on a solid form only after someone puts a stake in the ground and suggests a time, place and date.

Melissa has kicked that off now (yay! – thanks Melissa ), so if one of those two dates is suitable for a few of you, please post here to let everyone know and once the date is determined we’ll give the event a plug on Facebook and Twitter and see if we can rustle up a few more attendees for you.

I was wondering if a group had started, and if someone would pass on some details, please.
I would like to informally meet with other ‘soloists’.
I’m aware these posts are old, but nothing indicates a result or not.

Hi Hirav,
I’m interested, no keen, to get a group going. Ashfield is very good for me.
My solo business is not the usual services on Flying Solo(I’m a musician and teacher), but I really want to learn from others. I would have thought inner west would thrive with soloists! Look forward to hearing from you
