Hi all
I hope everyone is planning to take a well earned break over Xmas — seasons greetings to you all!
I have a question about insurance. I am in the process of starting up an online retail fashion business working mainly from home.
Can anyone recommend a good insurance package they have used for their home based business. I’ll need one that covers stock and transport — not just one that is designed to cover professional services.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, I know a broker is hard to choose too, but if you find a good one they can be even more useful than a decent insurance Co.
You don’t say where you are, it might be good to fill out your member profile so we can see a bit about you, I am in Sydney and have been very happy with Davelcorp in the nth west suburbs. Have never meet them personally. I could just as easily be on the other side of the country and it would have made not diff. to the service I get.

Hey Hannah!
I read your blog post about all the resources you’d found useful in setting up Audrey Blue, and here I am
I have to agree that contacting brokers is probably the best starting point. I did have a list somewhere but not sure where it is right now. I personally had no success with anybody I contacted. Nobody would insure my stock despite my heavy security measures and relatively low value. I figured the best solution for me was to get a safe and back-to-base security system. I hope you had better luck!
