The short answer is yes. But there is much less capacity, and prices will probably increase.

Why will it increase? Air freight is often carried on commercial, passenger flights. Have you ever wondered why they seem to charge you so much for excess baggage? Because you are taking up extra space that they can sell for general cargo. Now that international airlines have stopped nearly all their passenger flights, that’s a lot of air freight capacity that is no longer available.

But The freighters, or cargo planes, are still flying. So there are still regular flights to and from most major destinations, at the moment.

    • There will be some delays due to local restrictions on movement, and possible shortages of staff to handle the freight.
    • There will be some small delays due to capacity restrictions and demand outstripping supply
    • There may be price increases, compared to your previous costs

Plan Ahead. Just In Time solutions will be hard to execute
Check Prices so you can make the appropriate business decisions
