Hi
I am a part of a bookclub for fiction books, but haven’t found a likeminded group to talk about business books (which I also love!).If I started the logistical coordination (I’ll commit to the first six months – we might share once it gets going!!) would anyone want to participate?
I’d suggest meeting centrally at a coffee shop or bar;-) approximately once a month for a book discussion and general solo business chat.
Any other suggestions on approach gladly welcomed.
cheers

My other problem is finding some time to actually read the book… I’m having a bit of an argument with time right at the moment. Otherwise maybe down the track once the children are off to school.

There’s a new business book club starting in February – Teak Yew Business Book Workshop – doing one book each month, 3 sessions per month to choose from. http://www.stickytickets.com.au/teakyew.

Yes, I have started a business book club in Brisbane.
These will be held each month, starting on the 11th February. The first book is Small Giants by Bo Burlingham, about companies that choose to be great instead of big.
More information at the booking page, or feel free to contact me.
Would love to see you there,

It’d be great to start a thread on the forums where we could post a list of the books we have and would like to swap, and we could all mail them to each other – one for one – a la ebay but without money involved.
I always love to browse other people’s bookshelves and see what they’re into reading!
