So the organisation I work for is applying to receive job keeper payments.
I myself, am not directly affected, but am being asked to fill out a JobKeeper Employee Nomination Notice. I am being asked to say “yes” when filling out.
Are there any pitfalls to doing this?
Any pros and cons?
If you are making a false declaration and you are found out, obviously there are pitfalls. You are signing to say the statements are true, you obviously don’t think they are.
Don’t cheat the system, or aid your employer in cheating the system.
What makes you think I don’t think the statements are true? Sorry?
Must be that you’re a soccer lover.
No pitfalls. The form is just meant to protect the employer so that they can be sure that you aren’t claiming Jobkeeper from more than one employer.
You’d be in trouble if you signed the form for another business as well.
Otherwise, I don’t see any issues.
pro = you keep your job (because it’s more financially viable with JK)
con = you lose your job (redundant can no longer afford)
