Loved this slice of life from a rural small business owner Jared of Wagga Wagga in the Riverina region of NSW.

Jared said he used to go the gym as a teenager before taking the reins in his 20’s. Nothing like understanding your target market!

Good luck to Jared and Dayna.

It will be interesting to see how independent operations respond to franchisers taking big chunks of the market.

I find the Franchisors are a big boost to my business, whenever Jims run promotional ads on TV, I get an influx of calls, because Jim’s reminds them that they don’t really want to do it themselves, but a lot of people are wary about franchise’s because they are considered overpriced, and not concerned with the customer.

I have lost a couple of jobs to a franchise operator, because of underhanded tactics which I was told about later, then within a few month’s they call me saying please come back.

    Dont be scared of franchises,
