I have been looking at working from home (then along came Corona).
I have been looking at life insurance quotes and it appears people who work more than 20% from home are not able to be covered by some of the big names like CommInsure etc. Why is that?
Also, how are the people who normally work away from home covered by their life insurance if their boss has told them they have to work from home.
How companies insure is up to them.
Each will have a different way of doing things.
For that reason, it is probably a good idea to consult an insurance broker.
I am not sure who you talked to. Maybe income insurance may not be covered in these circumstances but life insurance has nothing to do with where you work, or even if you work.
