    Hi!

I’m new to this forum and hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

I currently use the mailing tubes in this link to post rolled up materials (can’t be folded) but now need to find a similar product which can hold items 1200mm long
    http://www.packagingondemand.com.au/20-x-mailing-tubes-60-x-1-5-x-660mm/

I’ll contact Packaging on Demand in the morning to ask if they have any suggestions as to longer tubes, but in the meantime does anyone have experience in sourcing long postal tubes or boxes?

    Thanks for your time!

In the meantime, welcome to Flying Solo, and thanks for joining us :)

Not quite tubes, but I use these.

I’m not sure how they compare on price, but they take up so much less space than tubes when being stored.

They’re pretty much exactly the same price as the tubes! Thanks so much for that bluepenguin. I’ll run the boxes past the client and see how she feels about those rather than the tubes.

I use the tubes that carpet is rolled around for posting long/tall plants. The carpet places throw them out. You just have to make or find some cardboard rounds to stick on the ends.

    Thanks for that tip GardenLarder!

Are they heavy? Do they cost a bomb to post?

    Hi

You can try a company called DARPAC in Melbourne: http://www.darpac.com.au

They manufacture postal tubes and can cut them to any size you like.

    Good luck
