    Hi All.
I’m looking for a contract lawyer who can turn my contract outlines into a legal document.

    • I’ve been in business for a while and did contract law at Uni so I’m not toally green on what is possible.
    • Ideally this would be lawyer with business/contract law experience
    • It is essential that they are happy to work via email/phone as I can’t do face to face meetings.
    • I’d prefer a cheaper probably one/two man firm, I don’t need an impressive letter head.

    any recommendations are appreciated.

    Hi Zippy,

I haven’t had any business dealings with him personally, but forum member Michael Terceiro (http://www.flyingsolo.com.au/forums/members/solo-lawyer.html), is a good guy and may be able to assist you. You can visit his website at http://www.terceiro.com.au/index.html

    Good luck,
    Jayne

    Hey.

If you’re in NSW, try calling the Law Society of NSW. They have a Solicitor referral service. Tell them what you’re after and they can email you the contact details of a few firms that fit what you’re after. Their number is (02) 9926 0300

Other states have their equivalents of our Law Society. Maybe google “Solicitor referral service” and your state.

I’ve had some experience from a users point of view and let me say, it can be expensive, anything from $700 to $7000. Do yourself a favour and canvass the cost aspect before you commit to a lawyer. I’m not saying its not the best idea, just be careful as my bill was a shock.
