Looking to sell my business

Hi there,

First of all i hope this kind of discussion is allowed on this forum and if not i apologize and will delete it.

I currently own a small bar in Sydney, i have owned if since November last year but due to a breakdown in the relationship between myself and my business partner we are no longer able to run it. The business is beginning to suffer and i’m worried that it will go belly up if we continue to run it with such poor communication between us.

Could anyone suggest a community, or a forum where i can advertise or mention my business being for sale for a very reasonable price?
It’s currently listed with some brokers and online on Seek but i’m looking to do everything i can to find a buyer.

Welcome to the forums Wade

A lot of businesses list for sale on Gumtree. It’s free.
The other thing you can do is tell the right story in your advertisement. If you wanted to send me your ad I could give some suggestions.

Also send to your network (family, friends, associates).
Also email as many “competitors” as you can. These people are best placed to regognise (and capitalise on) a bargain when they see it.
