    Hi

    This might sound like a strange request but I’m struggling to find a manufacturer that can help.

    I run an online Pet Shop and am currently importing faux fur dog beds from China https://petparlour.com.au/collections/dog-beds/products/calming-dog-bed

    I would like to try and get them made in Australia instead but cannot find a supplier.

    Does anyone have any ideas on who I could contact?

    I’ve tried:

    • Sewing suppliers
    • Cushion manufacturers
    • NSW Prisons

    I don’t want to be negative but I can’t imagine there would be many local textile companies that manufacture low cost items in small volumes.

    There are companies in China that would be pushing out hundreds of thousands if not millions of these doggie beds in a regular basis.

    Unless you can charge a premium for the product, it simply isn’t economically viable nor competitive to make it locally.
