    Hey there,

We’ve recently launched a Kickstarter campaign, and I am slowly building out the website. We’re just finding it a bit hard to generate traffic & am looking for some cost effective marketing ideas. We’re crowdfunding, so obviously don’t have a lot of money to put into it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Matthew

    Hi Matthew,

    Welcome aboard the forums!

What have you tried so far? In general I’d be trying to find businesses, organisations, and groups who would be interested in your product, or who have customers that would. The email them all, one by one. Cost: Free.

Who has access to people currently in the market for your teething toys? Maybe baby stores, child care centres, play centres, mummy bloggers, any “for kids” websites, etc.

Sit down, email one, email another. Repeat. Good luck!

    Dave

great product and good to see your efforts! wishing you good luck.
you can start off by approaching bloggers, kids stores and also use websites like weekend notes, PR wire, thats melbourne etc. that allows paid submissions but have huge readership.

Try promoting the launch and funding efforts as part of something ready to match with the character of the blog you are contributing to. Also use social media like Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook with the right hash tags and promo articles in the target audience.

And finally if you manage to get featured on KS editor pick then its a sure click. Anyways good luck mate..
