We’re fethr – a new social platform that curates offline group encounters across Sydney’s favourite venues.
We’re looking for a small group of Sydneysiders to trial our platform. It will be a great chance to meet new people as well as an opportunity to be the first to experience an exciting new concept. Sign up here: https://www.fethr.app

Sounds like a great idea. Can you tell me what’s involved?December 10, 2020 at 11:44 pm #1224567Up::0Phoebe_JJ, post: 271577, member: 119963 wrote:Sounds like a great idea. Can you tell me what’s involved?
Hi Phoebe JJ, thanks for your interest!
After creating an account you would fill in a 5 minute questionnaire so we can learn a bit about you. That way we can curate social meets with people we think you would click with (you don’t have to do loads of swiping, just the fun bit – the socialising!).
And then we would match you with 5 other people to meet and socialise with at a venue in Sydney. If you do click with somebody and the feeling is mutual we would put the two of you in touch.
Because we’re still developing the platform we’d also love to hear any feedback you have about the process along the way.December 11, 2020 at 1:31 am #1224568Up::0I’m left a little confused by your website and your discussion about, is this a social thing or a dating thing. I think clarity is required.

Thanks for the feedback, I take your point.
The platform and the in person meets are for making meaningful social connections rather than dating.January 28, 2022 at 10:13 pm #1234099Up::0I’m glad that nowadays you can find love on the Internet) Before, even people were embarrassed to write letters.

It’s not just a café; it’s a community hub with a great atmosphere. People are friendly, and there are often events and markets. Bondi Beach is another gem. You can join a surf class or simply hang out at one of the beachside cafes. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is a perfect way to strike up conversations too. Enjoy your trip!
