    I would be less worried about money and more worried about performance. Spending $500 on something that works is much better than $300 on something that doesn’t.

    There are some big variables that you haven’t mentioned – what type of business are you and what type of website? Can people buy from your website, etc, etc.

    But here is two alternatives for you to investigate if you want a mobile website. Both are at the top of the ladder in terms of the competition in their market space.

    Free: http://www.joomla.org/

    They are both Content Management Systems. Have a browse and see what you think. They both offer other things that you might find attractive but that would depend on what you are doing and what you think you might need in the future.
