Hi, I am a regular forum member however courtesy of my flying solo posts featuring prominently when googled I have created ‘incognito’ to ask the questions I don’t what my customers to know that I have to ask, especially when my newest customer thinks I’m much bigger than I am.

Righto, I have provided a quote to a customer for X amount, and advised that I require payment for 30% of the value within 14 days of placing the order and the remainder on completion.

My question is can I use the existing quote and WIP or some such to create an invoice for the 30% – payable in 14 days. I realise I could use the ‘paid today’ and will when issuing the final invoice but I haven’t been paid as yet.

    HELP!

    Hi Incognito,

Search ‘Invoicing’ & see my reply to vxd, it might help you in the future. The ATO website is a wealth of information for all those little brain teasers – give a go!

    Cheers,

    Daniele.
