    Encouraging news for online retail leading in to the holiday buying period.

    The NAB Online Retail Sales Index returned to strong growth (+5.7%) in August on a month-on-month, seasonally adjusted basis. This follows two considerably weak sales months in June and July.

    I don’t think we’re out of the woods yet. Still lots of bad signs, car industry slowing down, construction industry, slowing retail, investor loans as % of home loans. Time will tell I suppose.
