    Hi fellow soloists :)

I was wondering if someone can help me out with a html code for a small rectangle box shape.

I want rounded edges and the size will be about 2cm x 5cm.

Colour and text doesn’t matter as I can add that later.

I have searched Google but couldn’t find what I was after.

I hope that I haven’t broken any rules here but if so please just delete/move.

    Thanks in advance.

I’m a bit mystified as to why you would want to use HTML Karen. Why don’t you just use an image?

    Cheers,

hahahaha basically because I am an idiot and totally ignorant to these sort of issues. To be honest I didn’t even give it a thought…..sad I know.

That is definately one area that I am looking to outsource as soon as possible :)

I just read your post again and I am still laughing, if you knew my struggles with anything technical you would understand why.

Have a great night, and thanks for putting a smile on my face.

You can use an image (set it as the background behind the text), or you can use styles in a CSS – though make sure it is compatible with both Internet Explorer and Firefox, etc.

Safest bet is an image though.

    Hey Karen,

You could go “really modern” and use the border-radius property of CSS3, but it’s only supported in the most modern browsers :P

So as already suggested, your safest bet is to use an image.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Nawwwww forum love :D

You’re welcome Karen, always happy to help out when I can.

The link that Jake gave is a god one for flexibility with design. It all depends on how you want to use the box.
