Hi Everyone!
I’m starting up a small online clothing store that sell mainly women clothing and hope in the future to expand and include mens clothing’s!
However, i’m at that point where I need to start looking for suppliers!
Just wondering if anyone has any idea on where I can find contacts or perhaps there are some on this forum that may be interested in showcasing their clothing! So if you have any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.If you know of any designers that want to get their range out there as well, please do let me know. I’d love to take a look at all their stuff.
I look forward to hopefully finding someone!
Cheers

Hi Jo
To give it momentum – cold call potential suppliers and email them.
You can cover hundreds of companies with an outbound email campaign for this – and as you are not marketing your product/service it is not stopped by the spam act.
So, email blast it. But, the results may not be amazing – it just depends.
Best bet is to use cold call telemerketing or appointment setting , explain your story – connect, generate relationships. sending out emails. The answer is not about the products its about the relationships – appointment setting and telemarketing done right is modern heart-based relationship engineering.
Let me tell you if it works like hotcakes trying to sell your products…
How do you think it will go when you are offering them $?
Good Luck – its a tough market!

May 13, 2014 at 1:04 am #1163869Up::0Hi All
A tip for you. Have you ever bought something from an online store when the only image you have to view the product is pixelated or poorly presented? What are your impressions of the quality of the goods you will be receiving?
Not wishing to rob your thread but I can offer photographic services for your online imagery. I am competitively priced for professional work and would urge you to get the best imagery you can as I am myself turned off when I see substandard images online.
If you are in Sydney and could use a collaborative photographer who would consider himself a part of your team in growing your online business please call me to discuss rates.
Good luck with your new ventures guys.
All the best
Barry

Have you tried Stock My Store? It’s a new online market place connecting brands with stores. I sell fair trade products including women’s accessories. In future I will expand to clothing. I see potential in Stock My Store. Hope it’s useful to you!
